450 yard swim in Pool. 4 Mile Stationary Bike (difficultly level 6), indoor track or treadmill for a 2 mile run.
Who knows maybe I can work my way up to a real (sorta) one.
As fitness goals go it's a start. Then on to achieving a more outdoor active lifestyle again. After all I live in the valley of the sun, where more than 9 months out of the year you can be outside!
Fitness for me equals fun activities not just being a gym rat. What I want is to be able to hike all these mountains, kayak with the hubby (we did this in the ocean once and it was awesome!), maybe even white water raft the Colorado River at the Grand Canyon. I also think it would be cool to join a co-ed softball team with him.
I shall be fabulous and fit by the time I hit forty!
Ohhh I love it Azmomo2! I can't wait for this semester to get over with so I can hit the gym hardcore, and enter some 5Ks this summer. Woot Woot! If I lived where you did I'd be out and about too, taking advantage of that weather. Where I live the weather is unpredictable and terrible 9 months out of the year with only 3 months of great weather each year.
ReplyDeleteWow good luck hun, I really admire your commitment. I think I'll start off small and take a couple of classes a week. I've got them marked, yoga for stretching, pilates for core strength and kickboxing/zumba for cardio. I need to do exercise in a group or I have zero motivation
