No longer "Like Practically a Nurse" ....
Now I am officially a REAL NURSE! RN Baby!
PS: I kinda figured I passed when I got the good pop-up but ya never want to be too confident over the unofficial. But seriously I walked out of there wondering if I had even studied.
PPS: I am NOT saying that an LPN is not a nurse BTW. I know we are. It is just ya know, ya know?
PPPS: Did I mention that the testing center tried to trick me. My computer said 12B... like I don't know that 13 comes after 12 and before 14?

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDelete:D YOU DID IT!
ReplyDeleteNow go back to the beginning of this blog and see how far you've come!
Funny you say that because I did that yesterday when I was stressing and freaking out. I tend to do that quite often... revisit posts. ;-)
Deleteyay yay yay!!!! congratulations to you real nurse!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!!! I don't know of anyone who the computer shut off at 75 and they did not pass, so I figured you were gold! Isn't it a great feeling. I remember feeling so relieved. :)
ReplyDeletei was talking to this girl who actually did shut off at 75 and she failed. The PVT let her go to the credit card screen. She said when she got the letter in the mail she had missed almost every question. She said when she took it the second time, she had 75 questions again, this time the PVT was the good pop-up. She passed. I think this was kind of what actually made me hopeful.

ReplyDeleteAnother student passing their boards, inspires me to go back to studying my NCLEX. You should do an update blog of exactly what all helped you with studying. My school required that we buy the PrepU and book, and I've taken a couple practice quizzes to increase my proficiency level. I just hope in May/June, that I can say I passed the boards after the first try, just.like.you! :-)
PrepU was wayyyyy too easy! It says it gets harder and I had gotten to level 8 on a few sections and even those questions were nothing compared to the NCSBN and Kaplan questions... the NCLEX wayyyy more like the NCSBN and Kaplan.
DeleteIf you had trouble on HESI previously, I suggest something like the NCSBN level.
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I have been reading your blog for years, and am very happy to see that through your hard work and determination, your journey paid off with becoming an RN. You worked hard, and deserve kudos. :) :)
ReplyDeleteWow thanks for sticking with me that long!
DeleteCongratulations - We are sure you missed many nights sleep preparing to become a nurse.
