Vent Certification & PALS

Will be amazing things to get to include on my resume.

The only things, as far as I know, standing in my way of this job are 1.) The intense background check & 2.) The drug screen. What on earth is a Nursing 11 panel?


So, since 1.) I have already passed this background check twice. & 2.) I have not touched a single narc since I got my Nursing license, and have never done illegal drugs. I should be all good right?

    worse come to worst... you could work in Canada....in my province they don't require drug screening. We haven't really run into any major drug problems in our hospitals as a result... :)

    Ahh. The nursing 11 panel. I am actually a little suprised it doesn't include tricyclic antidepressants too.

     Amphetamine (AMP)
     Barbiturate (BAR)
     Benzodiazepines (BZD)
     Cocaine (COC)
     Marijuana (THC)
     Methadone (MAD)
     Methaqualone
     Opiates (OPI)
     Oxycodone (OXY)
     Phencyclidine (PCP)
     Propoxyphene
